On Thursday 20th November, the club were honoured to receive a visit from the Lawn Tennis Association’s President, Sandi Procter, along with several representatives from Essex Tennis.  The visit was part of Sandi’s County tour of Essex tennis clubs.  Sandi and her team were welcomed and treated to some excellent youth and junior exhibition tennis.  The Club proudly showed our fantastic 6 all-weather courts, which were in use despite the cold and gloomy weather on the day of the visit.  A typical warm Theydon Bois welcome included tea and cake and plenty of inspiring conversation about the future of tennis.
