About JW Tennis Academy
Jack Woollcott founded the JW Tennis Academy in 2012. Jack competed at an international level as a junior tennis professional. Due to an injury he chose to focus his passion and love for the game on coaching those of all ages and skill levels, making tennis widely available to all.
JW Tennis Academy operates across Essex and Havering delivering a variety of coaching options to schools and the local community.
JW Tennis Prides itself on delivering high quality tennis sessions at a great price to members of the clubs it partners with and the general public.

About Hadleigh Park Lawn Tennis Club
Hadleigh Park LTC was established in 1931. Hadleigh Park LTC, pride themselves on being a small and friendly Tennis Club for everyone
Located overlooking the Thames Estuary, a few miles west of Southend, the club is close to Hadleigh Castle in Essex.
At the club there are three all-weather courts and a modern clubhouse that was completed in 2013. There are now over 140 members at the club and growing!
The club offers social play on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and enters teams into the Summer and Winter Leigh & Westcliff Leagues.

The new tennis coaching programme at Hadleigh Park LTC
Junior coaching will take place on a Monday and Wednesday evenings each week. We will be running red and orange balls on both days and one green ball session on a Monday evening each week.
The sessions are paid for on a monthly basis and currently priced at £33.79 per month. We require one clear month notice for these sessions.
Monday – 4:15 – 5:00 pm – Red ball
Monday 5:00 – 5:45 Orange ball
Monday 5:45 – 6:45 Green/yellow ball
Wednesday 16:45 – 5:30 – Red ball
Wednesday 5:30 – 6:15 – Orange ball

Adult Coaching
Following on from your expression of interest we will be running one adult group a week to begin with starting the 9th March, this will be the Adult Doubles Practice group. We will look to open another midweek adult beginner/improver class in the coming year.
For the doubles practice class we will be offering an initial special offer of just £24 for 4 weeks of coaching. Alternatively and after the 4 week offer has ended you can book on a pay as you go basis. Sessions will run between 18:45 to 19:45 every Monday from the 9th. After the initial offer they will be priced at £8 for members and there will be a 10% discount for bookings of three sessions or more at a time.
At these sessions you will work to improve your tennis ability with sessions tailored to the ability of players and focusing on improving doubles play with doubles drills and practice doubles technique. The sessions will be run by David Watson a Level 4 club coach who is highly experienced. You can learn more about David below in the private coaching session.
Note there is a £2 per lesson non-member fee applicable to these sessions.

David Watson. Senior club coach (Level 4) - £35 for a 60 minute lesson
About David
I am a highly dedicated and experienced tennis professional, qualified as an LTA Senior Club Coach with the Lawn Tennis Association. With over 15 years of coaching experience, I have worked with players of all ages and abilities, supporting their development from grassroots participation through to advanced competitive performance.
Previously serving as Head Coach at Epping Tennis Club, I led coaching programmes, mentored assistant coaches, and helped grow participation within the club. My approach combines strong technical knowledge with a positive, player-centred philosophy, ensuring sessions are engaging, structured, and tailored to individual needs.
I am passionate about helping players achieve their full potential—whether that means building confidence as a beginner, refining technique for competitive play, or fostering a lifelong love for the game. My goal is not only to develop better tennis players, but to instil resilience, discipline, and enjoyment through high-quality coaching and supportive guidance.

Tom morgan. Level 2 LTA accredited coach - £25 for 60 mins – Tom will be offering private lessons for just £15 for 60 mins for the first two weeks of our starting.
Tom will be offering daytime sessions and you can purchase up to 2 lessons in the two week period for just £15.
About Tom
Tom is an LTA level 2 coach who has completed a Sport Coaching Science degree (BSc) at Canterbury Christ Church University. Whilst there, he was President of the University Tennis Club, winning the LTA best University in Kent award in 2024. He was then Captain of the Men’s first team the following year, and he continues to play at a club level. He has coached at Canterbury Tennis Club and in Blackmore Tennis Club before that. Tom is now committed to coaching back in Essex, helping others improve their game and have fun in the sport.

Nick Antionides – (Level 4) – from £25 for 60 mins
About Nick
"Nick is an LTA accredited level 4 coach completed whilst a club / team member of The Connaught Club.
His sporting background is pretty varied but grew to love tennis and its challenges.
After a short stint as head coach at Loughton tennis club, he set up a small tennis academy at the then Palmers College in Thurrock creating a fully comprehensive coaching programme involving the local community and schools, plus overseeing team tennis competing in local and Essex leagues.
The academy still runs today.
His focus and commitment is to bring out/ improve potential of players of any ability and age by implementing whatever experienced gained methods he feels fit."

Leo Walker – LTA level 2 Equivalent – From £25
I am an accredited LTA Level 1 Coach and have also completed the RPT Mark of a Pro course, gaining Instructor level 1 grading.
Playing and coaching Tennis is a passion of mine and I have been in the local tennis circuit from an early age. I am a member of Hadleigh Park Tennis Club and coach private one-2-one lessons and adult group training sessions.
I compete the University of Essex Colchesters tennis team and locally compete in Division 1 Leigh and Westcliff Men’s Team, and compete in LTA Tournaments. This allows me to have an insight into having match practice to provide my experience into the coaching sessions.
My greatest achievement is competing at Wimbledon in the Play Your Way to Wimbledon National Finals to represent Essex in the U18 Doubles.
I am a qualified and registered UKRSA Stringer, providing racket stringing and advice on strings and tensions to suit your game.

About Graham
I am a Level 3 LTA coach with over 20 years of coaching experience, dedicated to developing players of all ages and abilities. I compete regularly on the ITF Over 35 Tour, where I have played alongside and against numerous world-ranked players, and I am currently ranked just outside the world’s top 1000.
Throughout my coaching career, I have helped several players achieve world rankings, guiding them through structured development pathways and competitive performance environments. My coaching philosophy focuses on bringing out the very best in each player — technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.
Enthusiastic and professional, I am committed to creating a positive and motivating environment where players of all abilities can grow in confidence, maximise their potential, and enjoy the game.
