James Grindell Coaching

Hi, my name is James Grindell I am the Head Coach at Duffield Tennis Club.

I was named Derbyshire Coach of the year in 2009 as part LTA Tennis Awards.

I am LTA Level 5 Accredited Coach and have been playing tennis since the age of 7. I represented Derbyshire at both Junior and Senior level.

I coach all ages and abilities from those as young as 3 to adults in both group and individual sessions. 

In 2023 the Coaching Programme at Duffield Tennis Club was awarded the LTA Youth Recognised Venue status in recognition for adopting and delivering the junior programme to the highest standard. This is a status that only a handful of venues in the whole of the country received.. 

In my time as Head Coach Duffield LTC have been awarded Club of the Year 4 times and Regional club of the year once.
