Juniper Green Tennis Club is inviting members and the local community to a special Open Day on Sunday 17 May, celebrating the official opening of its newly refurbished courts.
The event will begin at 2pm with a short opening ceremony led by Sue Webber, marking an exciting new chapter for the club following significant investment in its facilities.
A series of free junior coaching sessions will take place throughout the afternoon, led by Coach Kenny Petrie. Sessions are tailored by age group, with children aged 4-7 from 2.30-3pm, 8-9 year olds from 3-3.30pm, and those aged 9+ from 3.30-4pm. From 4pm onwards, the courts will be open for adults and family play.
There will also be off-court celebrations, with strawberries and cream and a complimentary glass of fizz available, making it a great opportunity to socialise and enjoy the club atmosphere.
The Open Day is a chance to thank the local community for its support - helping to fund half of the redevelopment - and to welcome new members to the club. Anyone joining between now and the end of May will be entered into a prize draw to win their membership fee back.
All are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced players.
