The 'End of Summer Season' party was held on Friday 9th October at 6.30pm so that our junior members and their Mums and Dads could attend and then continued on until 10pm. The main room of the clubhouse was lit with many lines of fairy lights and with small candles on all the tables. This produced an excellent atmosphere thanks to our chief decorator Gillian Degnan. Members were invited to bring something for the buffet and this resulted in a table laden with a marvellous choice of food. 
The evenings entertainment opened with John Stansfield trying to sing Hotel California, with Chris Mills on guitar and assisted by John's daughter Kate handing him all the props, but not necessarily in the right order! Rob and Jane Cockburn then sang two traditional songs followed by Brian Lund who sang his own compositions. Chris Mills sang and played a Rod Stewart number and several Beatles songs, with everyone enthusiastically joining in as the lyrics were projected onto the clubhouse wall.
