Courts are now open!
The tennis courts have been fully refurbishment as part of the nationwide parks improvement programme, managed by the LTA, and funded by the UK Government, LTA Tennis Foundation and Chesterfield Borough Council.
From Thursday 3rd August the courts can be booked free of charge and will remain free to use for all of August.
From Monday 4 September, to ensure our facilities' long-term maintenance and enhancement, we will introduce a new affordable charge for court bookings. This will be a small fee of £6 per hour

Welcome to tennis at King George V Playing Fields, Staveley., situated within the Middlecroft Ward of Chesterfield. We've got two full refurbished tennis courts with on-site parking. With the latest addition of SmartAccess gates, reserving your tennis court online has never been easier!
Booking online is quick and easy and courts can be booked up to seven days in advance (Courts will be free for the first month of opening - August 2023, thereafter a small fee of £6 per hour will be in place)
Join us throughout the year as we promote the sport and create a thriving tennis community.
The courts are managed by Chesterfield Borough Council.

3. Confirmation
