New members are always welcome at any time. Either just turn up at a social session or phone Craig McPetrie, 07711 956657. You can play for three sessions to see if you like the club before paying a subscription.  Social sessions save you having to find play partners or organise foresomes if you normally pay-and-play. You also meet fellow players.  

Registration with the club

To register with the club, 1) key King's College Tennis Club - Clubspark in your browser, so that the home page appears, 2) click Register on the top ribbon, on the right hand side of the screen, 3) under Register with Clubspark,  fill in your name and details, 4) enter your email address and create a password. A dialog box comes up How to log in is changing, What do I need to do? If you already have a LTA account, log into it using your LTA username and password. If you don't, create a free LTA Advantage account. Once you have both a LTA and Clubspark account, you are asked to merge the two accounts. This links  your LTA to your Clubspark account. You are now registered with our club. To pay the subscription for the year, scroll down this page and click on the appropriate fee. 

Pay and play

If you want to play outwith club sessions, you can book courts by the hour by signing up with the Aberdeen Sports Village (ASV), by clicking on their website. Click  the Book (yellow) drop-down box, then click Book online, to get into the Account login dialog-box, where you click on Sign up. 

In Create New Account dialog-box, fill in your personal details. In the Club drop-down box, select Aberdeen Sports Village, then enter your contact details, medical conditions, disabilities, and you are now signed up to booking courts with ASV. 

To subsequently book a court, again click on ASV website. Book (yellow box), select click Book online. Select Home - Make a booking-book. On Clubs, select UoA . Under Category, select UoA. Under activity, select Kings Outdoor Tennis. Go to View timetable, to see a page of available bookings, on the quarter hour. Slots refer to courts available, 3, 2, or 1. Add courts to basket and pay. 

2023 rates: full cost is £11.80 per hour, discounted cost is £8.85. 2024 rates are to be confirmed. 

Access to the clubhouse is by keypad. Registered KCTC members will be emailed the code every time it is changed. Please do not pass on the code to non-registered people.

While Aberdeen University students tend to play with fellow students September to June on Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoons and Wednesday afternoons, some prefer to play less demanding social tennis with us. We can  negotiate a fee that matches your availability.
