Benefits of Membership

Regular Weekly Club Sessions

Set-up so you can play with players of a similar ability, new members can meet our coaches or team captains to learn which sessions would be most appropriate. Sessions are arranged on WhatsApp in advance with pairings curated to get the most out of your evening or afternoons play. We also have 'All Standard' roll-up sessions on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Tennis + Social Sessions

We often run Bank Holiday tennis tournaments, Medal tournaments and a themed Team Tournaments. We open the bar after the most popular social sessions and tournaments so you can enjoy the social aspect of club life as well as playing and watching great tennis.

Annual Club Championship / Handicap Tournament

The Annual Club Championship is one of the highlights of our Club year, with events to suit all members – Men’s and Ladies’ Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles, Junior and Veteran (over 55) events.  Entry to this knockout tournament is posted in the Clubhouse in March. The Annual Club Championship Finals Day is held on the middle Sunday of the Wimbledon Tournament.  It’s a great day, even if you don’t manage to get into a final.

We also run a Handicap Tournament starting in August, with the Finals Day in October. There are both Singles and Doubles events. Handicaps ensure that the stronger players do not get it all their own way and make for some great matches and some surprising results. Everybody has a chance!

Junior Tennis and Events

We hold our popular Junior tennis camps, an Easter Camp in April, and two Summer Camps (July and August). Registration for the camps is essential as numbers may be limited and it is recommended to book early as the camps are often over-subscribed.

Free Play

Outside of the Club sessions, matches and events, the courts are available for members to arrange their own games using the club booking system.

When the Clubhouse is open members will always find tea, coffee and soft drinks available.

Social Events

The Social Calendar for the year features themed meals and special events in the Clubhouse and BBQs in the Club grounds. Watch out for information by email, or WhatsApp. Where non-members are able to attend social functions, their ticket prices may be higher than those for members. All good reasons for non-tennis playing partners to consider becoming Social members!

Tennis Balls

The Club provides tennis balls for members to use during club sessions at the Club.

Our Head Coach Valentin Pusnava will arrange to restring your racquet, offering a collection and return service.
