Kirkcudbright Community Tennis Club

Kirkcudbright Community Tennis Club is set within the conservation area of Kirkcudbright. We are a friendly welcoming club registered with the Lawn Tennis Association and Tennis Scotland. We are a charitable organisation,  SC050244.

The club has two floodlit tarmac courts which have recently been resurfaced, a small clubhouse with toilets, changing facilities and a kitchen.

The club has over 120 members from all age groups.

A wide range of activities including junior coaching, mixed social tennis and active sections for Men and  Women and informal social competitions run throughout the year .

Club Championship competitions take place during the summer months. Mixed, Men's and Women's teams compete, with some success in the Dumfries and Galloway Leagues.

The club welcomes players of all ages and stages and runs taster sessions for anyone who would like to try tennis or is considering club membership.

A variety of memberships are available including  Adult, Family, Junior and Country and discounted Winter membership. The club also operates a pay per play arrangement for visitors to the area. Equipment for visitor use is available free of charge.

The club runs coaching sessions for adults and  juniors throughout the year and tennis camps in school holidays. These sessions are also open to adults and children who are not members of the club. The sessions run by qualified, experienced LTA coaches, can be booked online through this website under "coaching".

The recently upgraded playing surface and floodlighting offer an excellent tennis facilty to members and visitors.

The club obtained SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) status in June 2020.
