Why not join our village tennis club to get fit, have fun and enjoy the scenic parkland setting?
We have 3 hard tennis courts and 2 NEW Pickleball courts, which are all very easy to book on this site.
No court fees once you have paid your membership, just come and play.
On spring and summer days especially, there is no better place to be in Knockholt than our club, so get the family off the sofa and start running around!
We have a variety of low-cost, attractive membership packages to suit any circumstance, whether you are a parent who wants to play occasionally with your child or an adult brushing up on skills after many years away from the game.
Established in 1962, Knockholt is a friendly club set in attractive surroundings. Whilst a private tennis club, we hold Community Sports Club status and are open to membership applications from all ages and abilities. We offer plenty of playing opportunities and regular social tennis and pickleball sessions.
League Fixtures
We take part in the NKLTA North Kent League. Currently, we only have a Men’s Vets team, but we will enter teams in other LTA leagues if there is sufficient interest (in the past, we have had 5 teams entered).
Internal Club Tournaments
We organise American Tournaments throughout the summer months, along with our prestigious Annual Club Tournament. Please check our “News and Events” tab for dates.
Court Availability
During daylight hours, the courts are available for use by members outside the times of social or scheduled tennis games. Members can use our booking system to book a court or simply show up and play. Members with a court booking will have priority.
Without a booking, if all courts are in use and other members arrive and wish to play, the members on the court where play started first should finish the set they are currently playing and let the newcomers on court. If the pair or foursome that comes off wishes to carry on playing, they can follow on from the players on the other court, once they have finished their set, and so on. In other words, play would rotate between courts and playing groups.
PICKLEBALL
History
In early 2025 we launched Pickleball at Knockholt and added the appropriate court markings to one of our outdoor tennis courts, allowing for two pickleball courts to be created. Few could have expected it to be such a success. Since then, we have seen Pickleball at Knockholt go from strength to strength with participants enjoying this fast-growing global sport.
We have coach-led Pickleball Socials on Tuesday afternoons from 2-3pm and Saturday afternoons from 12-1pm within a welcoming and fun environment. Paddles and Balls are available to borrow for free.
We welcome visiting experienced Pickleball players to join in the socials (£5 per person fee applies).
