It gives children an opportunity to have fun, play games whilst learning what the game of tennis is all about.

Mini Tennis - 5-10 yrs

Mini Red Tennis is for children of all abilities aged 5-8. There are 4 levels of Mini tennis
Level 4 is a beginners level where children of all abilities start developing motor skills, co-ordination, movement, balancing, dexterity and hand eye co-ordination.

It gives children an opportunity to have fun, play games whilst learning what the game of tennis is all about. Coaching sessions will take place to accommodate all children of all abilities, there will also be opportunities for children who wish to progress to Level 1.

It is our aim to help children to fulfil their full potential through progression and if they want they can compete, we will be running Mini Red competitions at relevant levels in a friendly atmosphere, plus entering a Mini Red Team in the local Nottingham Leagues.
We here at Lady Bay will have fully qualified coaches that are able to deliver entertaining, enjoyable sessions.

Mini Orange is for children aged 8-9 years. The Mini Orange levels go from 4-1 and are very similar to the level Red formats.

They play on a larger court and play with a larger racket. Level 4 is the beginner level and the levels progress through to performance at level 1

Our aim is to provide coaching at all levels so that they can continue to play, progress and enjoy.
We will be running Mini Orange Competitions for any children wishing to participate; and also entering a Mini Orange team in the Nottingham Leagues.

Mini Green is for children aged 9-10 years.
Mini Green is for children to continue their progression from Mini Tennis Orange. It is played on a full size tennis court, with bigger rackets and balls which are a little softer than yellow balls. It’s the next stage before moving on to full compression yellow balls on a full sized court and helps players develop and improve all aspects of their game.

Our aim is to provide coaching at all levels so that they can continue to play, progress and enjoy.
