WhatsApp Community Groups:
Not everyone is familiar with WhatsApp Communities, nor their purpose and which groups to join. I have put a screen shot of the way it looks to me, which may differ from your version or what device you use.
Our WhatsApp Community is only open to members of Largs Tennis Club. There is no obligation to be part of our WhatsApp Community, you are free to come and go. Any important information will always be emailed to you. However, that said, our community group is a very quick and easy method of distributing useful info.
- You can self-join all the groups, except Largs tennis committee and Clubs Championships
- You can leave any group at any time.
Announcements:
- We would encourage you to join this group. Important information such as the recent change of Mix-In times and latest Coaching courses were posted here.
Tennis Cancellation:
- Another important group to join. We use this to say when courts are cancelled/unplayable due to frost/snow/flooding/etc, we are usually notified by Inverclyde when this happens and we will post here. We may also post other cancellations, such as Mix-In is cancelled due to courts in use by an Inverclyde residential or a Tennis Ayrshire match conflict.
Arrange a game:
- Another useful group to join, post here if you would like to meet up for a game, or if you are short of players for a friendly game.
Largs Social Tennis group:
- Useful for general chat. The views expressed here are not necessarily the views of Largs Tennis Club. Please do not post or share anything that may offend others. Please remember that the group size is large and consists of members who may have differing views on what constitutes humour. Please consider your audience before sharing videos or pictures.
Singles Ladder group chat:
- Everyone is welcome to join the ladder tournament for single match play, this chat group is for arranging games on the ladder. Everyone in this chat group will be added to the ladder.
