Droitwich Tennis Club - Lee Cowan, Head Coach

My name is Lee Cowan and I started my role as Head Tennis Coach of Droitwich Tennis Club in January 2012, I now oversee all aspects of the coaching programme. I have worked for 5 years at a top world renowned tennis academy called Saddlebrook in Florida. There I worked with professional tennis players and toured the states with them providing coaching, fitness and mental preparation, the highest ranked player I coached was 883 in the world. I feel I bring vast knowledge and experience to the club and I have high ambitions of progressing Droitwich Tennis Club into a thriving tennis community, to grow and develop new and existing players. I have represented Hereford and Worcestershire Men’s Tennis County Team on several occasions and also represented Birmingham University, whilst I studied my degree there. I coach all players of any age and ability. I am fully qualified as an LTA Performance Tennis Coach and now hold the Master Club Coach award, which is level 5 and the highest achievable in the UK. I encourage you to give tennis a try, and with many new sessions available at the club, now is as better time as any to pick up a tennis racket and head to the courts.
