It was a wonderful sunny day for the Lindow girls u14 tournament. This year we decided to use a league format, whereby all the girls played each other, at the end of which a new champion would be crowned. With four of the girls moving into the u16 age group after today, it was a last chance for them to play together and beat their current team mates!

Four rounds of matches were held and, as the heat intensified, so did the competion.  Going in to the final round, Arissa was in a very strong position but with Alexa and Emily battling in their respective games it was a battle to the end.

Arissa did hold on to her lead and is shown with her 1st place trophy.

Thanks to all the players and we look forward to holding tournaments for the U16's and U10's next year as well.
