2. Minutes of the last AGM dd 21/5/24:
Prop: Pam Davies Sec: Jeanette Cranfield : The Minutes of the last AGM were accepted as a true record.

3. Matters arising : None

4. Correspondence : None

5. Chair's Report:
In the five years that Gareth has acted as chairman he considered the major developments to have been
A steady increase in membership to around 30, with about 50% family membership, taking the number of people entitled to play to between 45 and 50.
Membership of the LTA/Tennis Wales which has provided affordable insurance and access to Clubspark
Coaching through WeDoTennis which was enthusiastically supported last year and will hopefully continue this year.
Safeguarding: The first three year audit has been successfully completed this January and a grateful thanks needed to be extended to Pam Davies for all her hard work to complete this.
For the future the following would be most important
Building up the membership numbers further
Coaching provision will be critical for this as the club needs to attract younger members
To access grants for resurfacing the courts in the future, court usage figures need to be increased and recorded: all members should be encouraged to book the courts through Clubspark to provide evidence. At the moment 75% of all bookings have been for twice weekly social tennis sessions and 20% for coaching, leaving much room for individual bookings to improve these figures.

6. Secretary's Report:
The Club has maintained a stable membership, is now on a more secure financial footing and has developed steadily over the last eight years. The systems developed to manage the club need reviewing and updating by a new team which can share out the various responsibilities more evenly.

7. Club Accounts to year end 1/9/2024:
The secretary reported on major outgoings:
LTA Membership £ 270
LCSA M'ship £ 550
Income from Membership:
Clubspark and BACS £1015.
Cash £ 130
Overall balance at Year End (31/8/24) was £3,776.27 compared to £3,633.32 the previous year.
The accounts were audited and found correct by S Ingram on 4/3/25 and a copy of the accounts marked as such.

8. Election of Officers:
With Gareth Davies resigning as Chair and Renske van der Baan resigning as Secretary, the following members were elected to form the new Management Committee:
Chair: Gwynn Davies
Treasurer: Pam Davies
General Secretary: Helen Walters
Membership Secretary: Jeanette Cranfield
Social Secretary: John Walters
Clubspark Officer: Gareth Davies
Welfare Officer: Pam Davies

9. Coaching arrangements: As last year. Pam to contact Nigel Hunter from WeDoTennis to confirm.
