Get your strawberries and cream at the ready, because here is a step-by-step guide for how to register for the Wimbledon Ballot.
Even if you don't want to go, it is great for the club if you can opt in anyway; this is because the number of entries in the ballot to win tickets that the club gets is based on the number of club members that opt in. And we want as many tickets as possible because you can be pretty sure that someone at the club is going to want that day out!
Here's how to opt in for the Wimbledon Ballot.
"All you need to do is opt in," they say.
Well, actually, what you need is to have a British Tennis Lite Membership (or full membership) and then to login to it, then make sure that you are linked to Llandrindod Wells Tennis Club, and then choose to opt in.
Easy.
British Tennis Lite Membership is given away for free to anyone who is a member of an LTA-registered tennis club, such as ours.

First Hurdle: "I don't know my login details".
The screen will look like this. You need a username, whch will be on your letters from British Tennis. If you have any. If you don't, then you will need to click on "forgot your username", and you will get the chance to enter your surname and email address to have it emailed to you instantly.
The same applies for your password.
Second Hurdle: "I have no idea about this British Tennis Lite Membership, I don't think I have one"
Do not panic!
You can make one for free and it is easy.
- First, go to the login page: https://www.lta.org.uk/member/login/ and choose "Sign up today" on the right-hand side.
- Click "View membership options".
- Click "Lite Membership".
- Click "Join Today".
- Choose "Adult" or "Junior".
- Fill the form out, clicking next to move to the next page of questions.
- They will send out a verification email, click the link "Confirm Account" in that email.
- You can now log in.
Third Hurdle: Connect your British Tennis Membership to the club
Don't choose to opt in until your membership is linked to the club. If you have been a member of any other clubs in the past, then you may still be linked to them. You need to remove them and link to Llandrindod Wells Tennis Club instead.
- Click on the personal details link from the opt in page, or follow this link: https://www.lta.org.uk/Members-Area/home/Personal-Details/ .
- Type Llandrindod into the "Add a venue" search bar then click on Llandrindod Wells Tennis Club and then "Add".
It will look like this: 
You can also opt in and out of communications from British Tennis and their "trusted third parties" here, if you like.
So, we're logged in and we've got to the opt in page...
If you logged straight in, without any problems, then you will be taken directly to the opt in page, which will look like the one below. If you had to faff about with fogotten usernames or had to create an account, then click the direct link (below) again and you will go to the correct page for opting in:

And that is it; you will get an email from "Wimbledon Ballot" to let you know that it has worked.
