North Powys Academy

The North Powys Tennis Academy  facilitates a Level 4 coach coming to Newtown once a month during the ‘season’ to give longer more technical sessions to those that are keen to progress.

As a part of his role there was also more detailed feedback and also direct contact + materials helping those interested to access those more competitive arenas including graded competitions and County trials.

After 3 years there has been some success and The Academy is continuing with Kyle Harvey who is the North Wales perfomance coach.

These sessions are run on one early sunday in the month:

May 5th
June 9th
July 7th
Aug 4th
And finally Sept 8th - end of season assessment/competition etc.

There are 2 x 2 hr sessions at NTC for keen tennis players (£36/42 per 6 sessions)
10-1145  Beginners and improvers
12-1400  Elite

With 121 sessions available before and after (£25/hr).
