On a sunny Saturday in October we welcombed in the return of The American Tournament.

The American Tournament is a sociable doubles competition that suites all standards of players and each round sees  a new doubles partner to play with.

A big thank you to Adrian Stephenson for stepping in as organiser and scorer and everyone who attended,some of whom have never played in a competition match before.

The event was well attended and at 10 am the game got off to a good start with randomly mixed doubles players with a good mix of men and women.

There was as usual a good amount of competativness but also a good feeling of happiness as the members were all out together able to play in the sunshine.

This year we introduced a mens and ladies cup given out to the individuals who score the most points.

This years winners were Gaily Walsh and John Beare
