Welfare

The welfare of all involved with Longstanton Tennis Club is fundamental to everything we do. We have implemented numerous LTA policies to ensure that we are fully inclusive and supportive of all members, and that everyone can enjoy tennis in a safe environment.

All of the club events are prepared in advance to be as fair and inclusive as possible, with a risk assessment carried out to ensure that everyone will be treated equally.

Please note that it is our policy that children under the age of 13 should not be left alone on the courts and should be supervised by an adult at all times. This should either be a parent/guardian or a qualified and accredtied LTA coach.

If you have any concerns regarding the safeguarding or welfare of any individuals, you may contact our Welfare Officer, Florian van Loo, via welfare@longstantontennis.co.uk. This address goes directly to Florian only, and will be treated confidentially according to the guidelines set out by the LTA.

You may also report concerns directly to the LTA using their Register a Concern online form.
