Performance Tennis

Over recent years we have a proven track record of producing outstanding players who compete successfully throughout the County and Regionally.  Mia Otley finished the Winter season as Kent number 1, our Kent Aegon Under 10’s, 12’s and 18’s teams won their respective leagues, Alfie Garratt regularly completes and trains at the internationally renowned La Manga Club in Spain and our very own Reece Mabberley continues his dominance of the Margate Lawn Tennis Club winning all three of the adult events in 2017 and is making significant inroads into the County scene.    

Margate Tennis is rapidly building a reputation locally and regionally as a programme that produces players.  We encourage excellence throughout all levels of our programme from Red to Junior and provide plenty of opportunities for our players to reach the “Performance” end of our programme. 

A blend of group and private lessons are proven to be the most effective route to excellence but for those that meet the grade they are invited to join our Performance Squads too.  These sessions focus on elite level interventions associated with the technical, tactical, mental and physical aspects of the game, which allows players to focus on reaching their optimum potential.  

Sessions are based at Margate Lawn Tennis Club on Monday at 6.30pm and Saturday morning at 12noon.  The sessions are payable through the Infinity Tennis website, www.infinity-tennis.co.uk.
