Matt Rogers Tennis

Matt Rogers Tennis runs the programme at Clevedon LTC in North Somerset, the club where Matt grew up and learned to play. Linked to the programme there are sessions taking place at The Downs Preparatory School.

Meet the Coaches:

Matt Rogers – LTA Level 4 Senior Club Coach, over 20 years coaching experience, grew up playing at Clevedon before running programmes across North Somerset before spending 10 years at a large Tennis, Squash & Fitness Club in Hampshire.  Matt moved back to the area with his family to take over the Clevedon programme.

Gemma Hockin – LTA Level 2, current Club 1st Team and former Hereford & Worcestershire County Player, Gemma is returning to coaching after having her two children, her eldest attends sessions at the club.  Gemma is a regular Club 1st Team Player, reigning Mixed & Ladies Doubles Champion and has taken on the role of Junior Co-ordinator.

Olivia Wellings – LTA Level 2, started out at Clevedon and has gone on to run adult and junior coaching courses at Congresbury, Bridgwater and Fairfield School.  Olivia has been a regular Clevedon LTC 1st Team Player, former Club Doubles Champion and has just graduated from Winchester University where she completed a Sport Coaching Degree, she offers coaching at the club alongside her work delivering sport in schools.
