Hello and welcome to Mellor Tennis Club

Our aim is to promote and encourage the playing of tennis for all ages and to develop a vibrant, healthy and progressive club that thrives on providing enjoyable tennis playing opportunities with quality facilities irrespective of ability and background.

Our members are drawn from Mellor, Marple Bridge, Marple, Romiley, New Mills and beyond. Members are at the heart of our Club and all standards and ages are welcome, including complete beginners, improvers and more experienced players who wish to play team tennis.

We have four high quality all-weather courts with floodlighting to the two lower courts which allow play up to 10.00 pm each evening.

There are regular social play opportunities together with inter club tournaments for both singles and doubles.

We are affiliated to the LTA and run 3 men's and 3 ladies teams in the Summer NECTL League with junior teams in U18, U12 and U10 categories. A further men's team plays in the South West Manchester League. Winter league tennis is also offered with two mixed teams.

Our head coach is Mark Beaver of MAB Tennis Coaching and he is able to offer adult/junior coaching with both individual and group sessions together with school holiday camps. For coaching, click here.
 

Mellor Tennis Club is located in beautiful surroundings. We are part of Mellor Sports Club and share our modern clubhouse with Lacrosse, Badminton and Cricket.

How to find us.
 

Mellor Tennis Club conveniently nestles between the Royal Oak and the Devonshire Arms on Longhurst Lane in Mellor. As you travel up Longhurst Lane from Marple Bridge the club is located on the left hand side about 50 yards after the end of the 20mph zone.
