Coaching at Mere Green
Coaching services at Mere Green Community Centre are provided by LTA licensed coach, Paul Jessop. The Tennis For Free charity also provide FREE coaching services on Saturday mornings (9:30-10:30am) for all ages and standards (not currently running due to COVID-19 pandemic).
Coaching services are currently limited to private lessons due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Group coaching sessions will be advertised here in the coming months when further restrictions are lifted.

Paul is a former semi-professional player and is currently an active player on the seniors tour ranked inside the world top #250. Paul's former playing days consisted of highlights of three international tournament wins and two national championhip finals. Paul represented England as a junior player and won the county championships at all age groups as well as becoming Men's County Champion in 2000 (Staffordshire).
Paul has coached for 26yrs and has vast experience coaching the full range of players from beginners through to a former world number 252 on the WTA tour.
Paul is a licensed coach and operates his coaching services out of the Mere Green Community Centre courts and at David Lloyd Club in Great Barr.
