We have introduced a NEW junior competition series this year (2025), the Pop Up Tennis Junior Tennis Tour. We would like to encourage all of our junior tennis players to play in some fun, friendly, organised match play. The purpose of attending tennis coaching is to learn the technical, tactical, physical and mental elements of the game in order to be able to play a tennis match. It is very common for young players to attend coaching at a club but never actually play the game in a competitive environment.
At Pop Up Tennis we believe in promoting lifelong participation, tennis is one of few sports that can be played for life, one of the many benefits of playing tennis. A big part of lifelong participation is the ability to be able to compete and play in a team. Our junior tennis tour will provide players not just the opportunity to play the game of tennis but to instil lifelong values such as learning about themselves under pressure, challenging themselves physically and mentally, confidence, resilience, discipline, respect, decision-making skills, a strong work-ethic as well as leadership and management skills.
