PAYG (PAY AS YOU GO) - These are sessions that you can book onto each week.

TERMLY COACHING - These are coaching courses that are bookable for the term (12 weeks long for example).

Junior / Youth Tennis Age Guidelines

Please see below the age guidelines for junior / youth tennis. These are guidelines and it isn't unusal for juniors to play outside of these guidelines to suit their level of development. For example, an 11-year-old playing in a green ball group. 

RED BALL TENNIS | Age 8 and under | 17-23 inch racket 

ORANGE BALL TENNIS | Age 8-9 | 23-25 inch racket

GREEN BALL TENNIS | Age 9-10 | 25-26 inch racket

YELLOW BALL TENNIS | Age 11+ | 27 inch racket

Private tennis lessons can be shared between a maximum of 2 players.

3) CAN I ATTEND A FREE-OF-CHARGE TASTER SESSION?

Yes, we offer a free taster session to any of our group coaching courses. To book your taster session please email us and we will get you booked in. 

4) DO YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CLUB TO PARTICIPATE IN COACHING AT RISELEY TENNIS CLUB?

Yes, after your free-of-charge taster session you would need to join the club to take part in our coaching programme. 

5) HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SESSION TO BOOK ONTO?

If you are unsure what session to book onto please email us. Please provide us with your name, phone number and any information you can provide us such as if you have played before. We will get in contact with you to discuss the most suitable session for you to attend. 

6) DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN TENNIS RACKET?

We would recommend having your own racket and we would be happy to recommend a racket that is suitable for you. However, we do have rackets we can lend out if you do not have your own. 

7) HOW DO I SIGN UP TO RISELEY TENNIS CLUB MEMBERSHIP?

8) ARE ALL YOUR COACHES DBS CHECKED, FULLY LICENSED, INSURED, SAFEGUARD AND FIRST AID TRAINED?

Yes, all of our coaches are registered with the LTA, fully insured and licensed and hold a DBS, first aid and safeguarding certificate. 

9) DO YOU PROVIDE A RACKET STRINGING SERVICE?

Yes, Shane Leather in our coaching team offers racket stringing. Please contact him (shane.leather369@btinternet.com) to get your racket restrung. Please see a price list HERE.
