COVID 19 Guidlines

This page provides up to date information as to how the coronavirus (Covid-19) and the latest government advice around it, relates to tennis activities in Britain and all those involved in delivering them.

UPDATE (19 June): Following our continued dialogue, the Welsh Government have announced that tennis courts will be able to re-open and the sport will be able to resume, subject to certain restrictions, from Monday 22 June.

Tennis Wales and the LTA have published detailed guidance for venues, coaches and players, so that tennis in Wales is able to safely resume. The guidelines are accessible via the link below to the LTA’s dedicated coronavirus advice page, as well as via the Tennis Wales website. We encourage you to read these guidelines carefully, and take any necessary time to implement them properly before resuming play.

Please do not rush down to the courts now we have been given the go ahead, you will not be able to access the courts unless you book via the website or app and a confirmation email/message from kathryn has been recieved.

LTA Guidlines for Players

Equipment/ Facility 

Do not use your hands to pick up balls that aren't yours- use your feet. 

Bring hand sanitiser with you.

Sanitise before and after you play. 

Gates will be left open to prevent touching them.

Stay on your side of the court. 

Maintain a 2m dstance. 

Only one adult can accompany a minor, keeping a safe distance. 

Maximum of  2 people per court, exception is if theres a group of 4 players from the same household.
