Can I try the club before joining?

Yes! All adult non-members are welcome to join us on a trial basis at mens club play, ladies club play, or mixed club play. Find out when our club play session are here - when to play. Feel free to pop along any time.

For junior's we recommend booking on to one of the group 'Junior Coaching' sessions. Find out more about booking a coaching session here - coaching.

How do I become a member?

Memberships can be purchased online and paid in full or monthly, please view our memberships fees. Payments can be taken via our payment provider GoCardless or via bank transfer. 

After you submit your application you will be provided with a handbook and welcome pack to familiarise yourself with the codes to the courts. An access card to the club house (for adult members) will be provided once your Mizzymead application has been processed (the Mizzymead membership form will be provided on application).

How do I access the tennis courts and clubhouse?

Codes to the courts can be provided once your Nailsea Tennis Club membership form has been completed and payment has been made.

A key card to access the clubhouse will be provided once your Mizzymead Recreation Centre membership form has been processed (the membership form is available after completing your Nailsea Tennis membership application). Your card will usually take around a week to arrive.

Can I use the floodlights?

Yes, we provide free use of our floodlights but please use them sensibly. Floodlights can be accessed by adult members only. More information will be provided with your handbook.

Is there a ball machine?

Yes, we have a Spinshot Plus ball machine and dedicated presureless balls. A guide to the ball machine will be provided to new members. The ball machine can be used by adults only, or with adult supervision.

Can I book a court?

Yes! We encourage all our members to book a court to avoid disappointment. View our when to play page to find our when courts are available. Once your membership is appoved you'll be able to use your LTA login to book a court.

When is club play and coaching?

Please refer to our 'when to play' page to find out when club play and coaching sessions take place.

Can I bring a guest?

Guests are welcome to join a member on court. The member must pay a guest fee of £5 per person to the club account via bank transfer.
