Well it certainly was a fun day! These events always prove popular with another good turnout today. Another warm, sunny day but all players had to battle with the light, but constantly changing, wind which made for some interesting matches!

Partners were drawn at the start of the afternoon and changed after each set of 8 games. Points are awarded on the number of games won in each set with the top 4 going forward to a final. This was closely contested with Mike Walsh & Verne Atkins being the final winners after a closely fought tie-break winning 10-9 with a last point decider. Congratulations to them and to Sally Stone who was the overall ladies winner.
