Safeguarding in Tennis

We all have a vital role to play in keeping children and adults safe from harm. Normandy Tennis Club recognises the importance of promoting safe and inclusive tennis environments, so that everyone has positive experiences of tennis.

The Club is committed to the LTA's Safeguarding Policy and Procedures to safeguard children and adults at risk. It is a commitment upheld by all LTA, Tennis Scotland and Tennis Wales venues, programmes, events and individuals. The club also supports the LTA's Safe to Play campaign and its top tips for coaches, parents and players, and venues.

We ask everyone to become Safe and Inclusive Tennis Champions – proactively promoting safe and inclusive tennis and responding to concerns you have about a child or adult.

Together we can make a positive difference to every child and adult in tennis in Britain.

Reporting a safeguarding concern

If you have a safeguarding concern, please use the LTA's secure online form to provide the details (anonymously if you wish). If you'd like to speak to someone outside of office hours, you can call the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000. If someone is in immediate danger, call the police (999).

If you want to report or discuss anything related to safeguarding, please reach out to the club's Welfare Officer, Fiona Ellis, at welfareofficerntc@gmail.com or +44 (0) 7854 391 983.
