Thank you to all those who supported Pancake Evening and Coffee and Cakes on Saturday morning. I would particularly like to thank those who gave up their time to bake cakes etc and a special thank you to those who came along to support the two events.

David and Jenny were there with their clothing stall and lucky dip, Jane did an amazing job baking for hours on end and helping me do the necessary shopping before the event and then came along on the Friday evening to sell more raffle tickets. Reena, as always was there in the kitchen and Suhana and Will were waiting on , while Alex collected the money ! Thank you to this small band of volunteers, who always make things happen.

Sadly Saturday morning was not as well supported as I had hoped but those who came created a lovely atmosphere in the clubhouse and helped raised £200 for Sam’s marathon bid.

There are still cakes, chocolate bars and cans of drinks in the kitchen for members to buy. Pleases leave the money in the dish provided. This will go towards Mary Ann Evans Hospice after expenses have been met.
