We believe that every child should have the best possible start to their tennis journey. That's why we have specialist coaches who provide a safe and inclusive environment for all abilities. Our sessions cater to the needs of each child, so no one gets left behind.

We have designed different Youth stages to ensure that every child can progress at their own pace. While we have assigned ages to each stage, it is just a guide. We understand that kids want to play with their friends, and we encourage that. Therefore, whatever stage they start at, all kids will see progression.

Our coaches ensure that in every LTA Youth stage, kids will be active, having fun, and developing skills. We offer a range of programs that cater to the different levels of ability, from beginners to advanced players.

• Mini Tennis Red (Ages 4-7): This is an introductory stage for kids to develop hand-eye coordination, basic motor skills, and a love for tennis. Using smaller courts, lighter and softer balls, and smaller rackets, our coaches make sure that the children have a fun and engaging experience.
• Mini Tennis Orange (Ages 8-9): This stage helps kids to develop the skills they learned in Mini Tennis Red while introducing them to new techniques. The court is bigger, the ball is slightly harder, and the racket size is increased to ensure that kids can hit the ball with more power and control.
• Mini Tennis Green (Ages 10): In this stage, kids will play on a full-sized court, with a slightly softer ball, and a larger racket. They will learn how to move around the court, control their shots, and develop their own playing style.
• Yellow Ball (Ages 11+): This is the final stage of the LTA Youth program. Kids will use regular tennis balls and play on full-sized courts. Our coaches will help them to improve their technique, tactics, and fitness level, while encouraging them to enjoy the sport and play with others.
