With the relaxation of Covid restrictions the committee would like to outline some guidelines that we hope will seem sensible to ensure everyone's safety at the club. These guidelines are an interpretation of guidance set out by the LTA on the 19th of July:
The clubhouse will be limited to 12 people at any one time. We also encourage face masks to be worn when in the clubhouse. Ideally if anyone is in the clubhouse all of the windows and doors would be opened to ensure good ventilation (Please ensure they are all closed and locked before you leave the club). Any match teas should be taken outside the clubhouse. Plates and cups have been put back into the clubhouse. Please ensure that you wash anything that you use up before leaving the club.
We ask that all players book courts via the court booking system and for any social sessions that you attend you should sign your name in the red folder on the low table under the television.
We ask you to be mindful of other members when you are at the club as some may feel more comfortable than others to be in closer proximity. The committee asks that you maintain 1m+ between yourselves.
As usual if you or one of your family are displaying symptoms please do not attend the club. If you have been informed that you need to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace (or are required to self-isolate in relation to travel), you must do so. If you feel you have been in contact with members when you may have had Covid please let one of the committee know immediately.
We hope we can now all enjoy our tennis and get back to a bit of normality with some social events and tournaments coming up in the very near future! Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you on court!
