On 3rd July 2022 we held our first Open day since Covid and it was amazing to see so many people on the courts and witness the grand opening of the new courts. Thanks for coming!

After short speeches by the club's chairman, Lee Fedder, and its president and longest standing member, Betty Beacroft, the club’s youngest player, Isla Chichester had the honour of cutting the ribbon to officially open the new courts.

The warm, sunny weather meant conditions were perfect for tennis and Portishead residents duly obliged, filling all 5 courts throughout the Open Day, stopping only to grab a burger from the BBQ or a slice of cake.

It was a brilliant occasion, we’ve never had so many at the club. We were overwhelmed at the enthusiasm shown by all those who turned up to give tennis a go, and hope to see you at the club again in the near future.
