FAQ

Before I make a decision to join, can I come along and use your facilities to see if it’s right for me?

Certainly, we would encourage people thinking of joining to come along and 'have a go' to see what we have to offer. Our club coach runs coaching classes for all abilities which are available on a pay & play basis to both members and non-members. Come along and have some fun and then make a decision. See our coaching page for details of Pay & Play.

Do you have a dress code on the courts?

There are no strict rules. All we would ask is that you wear something appropriate for running around in, jeans and football shirts are unsuitable attire for playing tennis. All players must wear appropriate footwear.

Are members allowed to bring a guest along to use the clubs facilities?

Guests are always welcome to come along and play at Parkwood Tennis Club. Their details must be entered in the Guest Book in the clubhouse and a visitor fee of £3.00 is payable; This can be handed to any member of the clubs committee.

Memberships run from April to April. If I joined in July would I have to pay a full years membership fee?

No, you would only have to pay for the remainder of the membership year. So, if you joined in July you would only have to pay from then until the following April.
