Breakpoint 2019 Charity Challenge: 4th June

In June 2019, Robyn Moore, in association with Bright Ideas for Tennis, is attempting a monumental challenge.

She will hit 200,000 tennis shots in 30 days. In doing so, she will need to play for 8-10 hours per day for 30 consecutive days. Her shots will be recorded by the Swing App (on her Apple watch) and she will average 1 shot every 4 seconds! Robyn, who suffers with PTSD herself, will be visiting 46 venues throughout the UK, including clubs, parks, schools, disability venues, and ATP/WTA Pro tournaments, and each day will be a festival of tennis - open to all to watch, or participate. The final shots will be struck on the prestigious courts of the All England Community ground in Wimbledon on 30th June.

Penarth Windsor is honoured to be hosting the Welsh leg of this tour, with a range of activities on the day including:

8am-12pm / 1-5pm: Ball Machine hitting on Court 8 with Robyn
10am-12pm: Adults American Tournament with Liz James followed by lunch
1.15-2pm: Cardio Tennis Taster session with Rob Gaunt
2-3pm: Pan Disabilities Tennis Group with Tom Cole

Can you help volunteer on the day? We are recruiting 'ball adults' to help support the activities on the top court. Contact Liz James if you can help
