Penketh Tennis Club

Penketh Tennis Club can be found off Hall Nook, Penketh, Warrington at the top of a secluded lane, amongst the trees.

We are a lively and friendly tennis club with three all weather AstroTurf courts and led floodlights. All our courts were fully refurbished in 2015. Unlike other tennis clubs where players hang up their rackets from August to April, here at Penketh rain doesn't stop play (well, hardly ever). We even play on Christmas Eve!

As well as the tennis, there is an active social calendar planned for the club, with quizzes, pizza and curry nights in the clubhouse, and barbecues for the summer. There is also an outside play area for children who prefer other games.

For the player who just wants to enjoy the game and keep fit, we play social tennis most weekends, and arrange monthly fun American tournaments for players of all abilities. For the competitive types, we have an annual club tournament, and also adult gents, ladies and mixed doubles teams playing in the Warrington and District League.

Penketh Tennis Club is proud to have achieved Tennis Clubmark accreditation. This is a recognition of excellent standards and achieving this confirms the LTA endorses and supports our tennis programme delivered on court and the policies and procedures put in place at the Club.
