Peter Evans - Head Coach, LTA Level 3 Accredited+

I was awarded Avon Development Coach of the year 2019/2020

I am also an Avon County Coach & I work closely with Avon Tennis to provide a pathway for juniors from club to county & beyond.

My extensive coaching experience  includes coaching in Boca Raton (South Florida), Barcelona and multiple clubs in Bristol.  I have worked with many juniors at national and ITF level but now I specialise in development tennis & I love working with club players (juniors & adults), who want to further their tennis skills.

I am a multiple Men’s club champion (KLTC) & I play first team tennis in the Avon 1st & 2nd divisions.

Since September 2022,  I have been responsible for managing the Coaching Programme & team at Chippenham Tennis Club. I am excited about providing more opportunities for everyone, having an open & inclusive environment so that all can enjoy the game.

Conor Mckeigue - Senior Coach, LTA Level 2

I have been playing tennis since I was 15 & have been passionate about the sport from the start.  I started off by helping at my local tennis club (Woodlands, Hanham) & enjoyed it so much that I went on to do my Level 1 & 2 tennis coaching qualification.   My favourite shot to play  is the Volley.   It's great to see how much both children & adults benefit & enjoy tennis.  I hope to see you all on the court soon to share my love of this sport.

Daniel Green - Senior Coach, LTA Level 3

I have been assisting with the tennis programme at Woodlands Tennis Club (Hanham) for 6 years & enjoy both the playing  & coaching aspects of tennis. I have been the Junior singles champion at Woodlands Tennis club on 3 occasions & in the Summer months I play as part of the men's doubles team.  It's great to know that my coaching on court helps children progress with their tennis journey & seeing the children improve over the weeks is a great achievement for all, so grab a racket & head down to the courts!

Ben Owen - Assistant Coach, LTA Level 1

Ben achieved his LTA level 1 coaching award in 2022 and is enjoying being part of the team. His passion for coaching is growing all the time, which he is positively demostrating in his coaching delivery.

He plays at a great level including when he trained as a county junior and now he is starting his first season in the Men's league team for Chippenham TC
