We are proud of the success of our PTC teams in the Swindon and District Leagues in 2017, with 3 teams promoted, and the men's A team finishing as runners-up in the first division! Building on this success, the Club Captains, working together with the PTC Committee and Coaches, have agreed some new plans for team organization in 2018; our aim is to attract all PTC members of team playing standard, establish appropriate commitment, and enable team captains to enjoy a rewarding experience.

Thank-you to all those players who have signed up for summer league tennis. As a result, we have formally entered 8 men's teams, two ladies teams and two mixed teams. We are now running a series of team selection trials, combined with tactical doubles coaching, in order to appoint players to the appropriate teams.  Players will receive email invites to attend the appropriate trials and shoudl attend at least one trial to be assigned to a team.

Trials dates:

Men's:   Mondays - Feruary 26 (A-E teams), March 12 (B-E teams), March 19 (F to H teams), April 16 (F to H teams)
Ladies': Tuesdays - February 20, March 13, April 17
Mixed:  Thursdays - February 15, March 8, April 12

We look forward to a great year of tennis in 2018, and of course in addition to League tennis, there will be all the usual club tournaments and events, to ensure all members can enjoy both social and competitive tennis!
