Although the Club was formed in 1947, significant development of the Club has only happened over the past 20 years due mainly to the enthusiastic and supportive club membership and with strong leadership from various Chairmen during this period.

Pewsey Tennis Club Rules and Regulations are in place in order to:
- Enable members to know their rights and to understand the required discipline.
- Allow the Committee to implement the rules and apply the regulations on behalf of the members.
- Provide an adequate legal constitution for dealing with formal matters – leases or land purchase, licensing, taxation, rating relief, loan procurement, general finances, etc. For some of these purposes the Rules will be subjected to outside scrutiny by other authorities and they must conform to certain requirements.

TennisMark is The LTA’S club accreditation programme. We have achieved TennisMark+ accreditation which means that the LTA endorses and supports the tennis programmes our club delivers on court, and the policies and procedures we have in place off court. These are crucial to ensure that our club is managed effectively and that we provide a safe environment for our juniors to enjoy and play tennis. Following renewal of the LTA accreditation in 2013, Colin Gratton, Chairman, confirmed ’that he was pleased the Club still met all the criteria to achieve this important national kitemark and that the Clubs’s policies, procedures and plans maintained the high standards expected within the sport’.
In accordance with the Clubmark standard we disclose our policies and plans in the following documents:

If you can read through all these, you will begin to appreciate how much work had to go into achieving the Clubmark accreditation!
