PTC has enjoyed a good club championship this year, with a high number of entrants, and the timely completion of many closely contested matches. Unfortunately, it transpires that many finalists are unavailable to play their final at the Finals Day event planned for 7th July. We are therefore cancelling the event on 7th July (no other suitable date has been identified). 

To close out the championship, the remaining matches and finals must be played by the end of July and players will make their own arrangements regarding match dates.  Trophies and certificates will be awarded to winners and runners-up at a PTC event later in the year.

The tournament Committee will review the tournament format for 2019, in light of the poor membership support for the Finals Day this year.

Thank-you to the volunteers who were teed up to help with the Finals Day and to the small group of enthusiats who had signed up for spectating duties, sanndwiches and scones.

The 2018 Club Championship will culminate in an exciting afternoon of finals at the club on Sarurday 7th July.  Come along to watch some very competitive tennis and to give your encouragement to the players who will provide the gripping entertainment.

Play will take place from 1pm to 5pm and a free afternoon tea will be served at 3:30 pm.  Please sign up at the club-house for the afternoon tea so that we can cater accordingly.
