Restart of Coaching from 29th March

Hello all,

I hope you are all keeping safe and looking forward to getting back on court.  The LTA have now updated the guidelines for group tennis, meaning we are planning to re-start all coaching and drills on Monday the 29th.  If anyone would like to read through any of the key information here is a link to the LTA’s summary grid:

As the government have said from the start of their roadmap, this date is not set in stone so we will be making all of the group coaching bookable a week ahead of time on a pay weekly basis. For those of you familiar with drills this will be the same process for booking.  This means that for the first few weeks, the programme will be much more flexible until we are certain we can carry out a course to its completion without needing any refunds or amendments.  If anyone needs help booking please just ask.

Unfortunately, we will not be running a typical full day/week Easter camp which we would have been able to in the past.  I still feel it’s too soon, especially with zero indoor access.  Throughout the Easter holidays, if parents would like to get a group of friends together (maximum of 6) for an hour or two we are happy to run a private group session.

Instead of camps we will be running the normal programme and drills for both adults and children throughout Easter to get the rust off before the summer term starts.  In fact, for the juniors and the very first week only (29th-3rd), returning players will be allowed to access their old afterschool coaching session for free.

Over the next couple of days, the website will be updated with all of this information and bookings will become “live” a week ahead of the session, so don’t try and book straight away.

In the meantime, if anyone feel they may need a half hour “hit” or even a coaching session with Zach or Jono when the club re-opens please get in touch.

Get stretching!!
