Pirton Tennis Club

Pirton Tennis Club is a small club in the village of Pirton, which is 3 miles from Hitchin, Herts. We play on two porous tarmacadam courts located on the village's recreation ground.   The courts are floodlit.

We have approximately 80 members, ranging in age from 8 to over 70. We play a mixed of friendly social tennis, and more competitive league tennis.   We hold club nights for members from 7pm every Tuesday and Wednesday. We have three teams in the local Datchworth league, and one in the Hot Racquets league.  We also hold a number of other inter-club tournaments throughout the year.

We are affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA)  and have an LTA qualified head coach who provides coaching to our members.
