Pitlochry Tennis Club run several competitions to engage players of all standards and abilities.
Annual Singles Tournament
In this round robin competition each player plays each other over the summer. The top four players reach the knockout stage to decide the Pitlochry Tennis Champion of the year. The winner is presented with a trophy on which his/her name is engraved.
Club Tournament
This tournament is held towards the end of the summer and all members are invited to take part. It is a friendly competition. The atmosphere is casual and there are snacks and drinks available. The winner is presented with the Club Trophy which will be engraved.
The Highland Tennis Championship
This annual event, first played in 1895, is Scotland's second oldest tennis tournament. It takes place during the second week in September and is organised by the Championship Committee. There are various competition categories, so you are bound to find something that suits.
Pitlochry Tennis Club takes an active role in the tournament - which draws players from all over the country. Normal club play is suspended for this week.
