2023 Events

Saturday 20th May 

The Pluckley Cup Tournament was won this year by Carol.

In every round, each player played with a different partner, keeping the number of games they win in each round during the morning towards their overall total. The player who had amassed most games at the end of the rounds was the winner of the Cup.

Saturday 3rd June

The official opening of the newly refurbished court and the cutting of a ceremonial ribbon took place with the Pluckley Parish Chair Mark, cutting the ribbon. Thanks were given to Kent, Ashford and Pluckley Parish Councils who have all kindly contributed to the cost of this project. Club coach Sam, organised some fun drills for those who turned up in their whites and everyone enjoyed a superb afternoon tea in the sunshine. 

Saturday 10th June

The Club supported the Pluckley Bash from 12 midday with a stall with our Tennis Corn Hole game. There was also  "Rusty Rackets" running on the court for anyone wanting to have a go at our sport.

Saturday 2nd September 

A special tournament took place in honour of Clive Walton to mark a year since his passing. The tournament was a huge success with 10 members taking part. The format was the same as the previous tournament and the winner was Carl with the most overall points. The prizes were awarded by Clive's wife, Jean.
