Portswood LTC offers a full calendar of events, social tennis, and friendly competitions to keep members active and connected throughout the year.

🎾 Weekly Social Mix-In Sessions

Come along, mix in, and enjoy relaxed doubles play — a great way to meet fellow members.

Spring to Autumn:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00–8:00pm

Winter months:

• Wednesdays & Fridays, 2:00–5:00pm

All year round:

• Sundays, 2:00–5:00pm

No need to book—just turn up and join in!

🍹 Monthly Social Evenings

We host a social drinks evening on the first Thursday of each month during autumn and winter. A chance to unwind, chat, and connect off court.

🍔 Summer BBQ & 🍛 Autumn Curry Night

Two highlights of our social calendar:

June: Clubhouse BBQ night

October: Cosy Curry Night to welcome autumn together

🏆 Annual Club Tournament (June–September)

Our friendly internal summer tournament runs throughout the season.

Singles and doubles categories, open to players of all levels.

Finals followed by light refreshments and prize presentations.

🇺🇸  American Tournament & Summer Picnic

Held on our stunning grass courts, this fun and informal doubles event is a member favourite.

It is usually held in mid-summer and includes a bring-your-own picnic to enjoy in the garden after the tennis.

We welcome all members to take part—whether you’re competitive, social, or just enjoy a good evening out with fellow tennis lovers.
