Hugely successful evening for Poynton at the LTA awards evening at Chester Racecourse last night!

Mike managed to finish runner up in the coach of the year category. He then went on to win the competition of the year award for his work with the Cheshire winter league which has become the largest in the country.

Worth Primary finished as runners up in the school of the year category. The LTA mentioned the amount of tennis players the school produces is remarkable and they are reaping the rewards of the investment they have put into schools tennis.

Joe Knightley also received an award as his Cheshire u11 team won team of the year for finishing runners up in the national championships.
