On the 8th and 9th Jan 2022 Pershore Centre coaches Guy and Steve (pictured left to right) attended the Cornwall and Devon tennis coaches conference which was held at 'Heron Tennis' in Newquay. Guest presenter was Dan Kiernan director of ‘SotaTennis Academy’ in Spain who shared his tennis philosophies ‘Control the controllables.

Steve says:

"It was great to listen and interact with so many coaches from the region. The LTA also presented its ‘LTA YOUTH’ programme demonstrating world researched lessons for junior skill development.  

It was also great to catch up with good friend Steven Askey, the Director Ace tennis Coaching and Academy at ‘Heron Tennis’, Newquay; where we plan to take a group of Pershore juniors to do a training camp in October later this year.  

We have returned to Pershore Tennis Centre inspired with new ideas to share and help our players."
