Spring tennis league (Adults) & Junior Tournament

2026 Tennis courses for adults is now live!

Spring Tennis league starts Tuesday, 03rd March and runs until Sunday, 31st May.

Ladder league

Each player has a starting position on the ladder as set by the organiser. The goal is to challenge another player, win and go ahead of that player on the ladder.

  • A player may challenge any opponent within their green ‘Challenge Zone’.
  • Upon receiving a singular challenge at any given time, a player has a maximum of 3 days to ‘accept’ the challenge.
  • Players can alternatively choose to ‘deny’ such a challenge, with the permitted number of ‘deny’ opportunities, set by the organiser.
  • Once a player has used the permitted number of ‘deny challenges’, denial of a singular challenge will then start to count as a loss and the ladder rankings will change accordingly.
  • If a player does not respond within 3 days to a challenge then this counts as a ‘deny’ response.
  • A player may make and accept challenges that are additional and concurrent to their already accepted challenge. However, if the challenged player is already engaged in a challenge and chooses to ‘deny’ such additional challenges, it will be without penalty, to give all players control over the number matches they take on at a given time.
  • Once a challenge is accepted, players have 14 days to submit the result, otherwise the challenge will expire and reset.
  • Players can use the Matchspace chat function to organise their matches.
  • Once a match has been completed, players should click on their opponent in Matchspace and select ‘add scores’. They can record the score and this will update the league table.
  • The ladder league follows a "bump" style format - if a player challenges up and beats their opponent then they take their opponent’s position while their opponent goes down one place. If the lower ranked challenger loses, both players remain where they are on the ladder.
  • Changes to the ladder will take place in the order that results are submitted, regardless of when challenges were accepted.
