Our resident coach at Queensbury Recreation Ground
If you are looking for a 1:1 or 2:1 lesson this is organised directly through the coach, rates are from £40 per hour. For any other lessons for groups of 3 or above the office will book these in for you.
Yigal Chazan is an LTA-accredited tennis coach who has played tennis his entire life, competing as a youngster and, more recently, playing for the sheer enjoyment of the game. After several years of informal coaching, he discovered a real passion for helping others develop their skills, which led him to become a professional coach last year.
He works with players of all ages and abilities, equally comfortable introducing basic strokes to beginners as he is refining the technical and tactical skills of intermediate and advanced players. He strongly believes in combining high-quality tennis instruction with engaging drills and game-based situations.
His coaching philosophy is simple: learning how to truly play the game is the key to fully enjoying it.
Yigal is currently available on Wednesdays and Fridays for lessons at Queensbury.
