Walking Tennis - Re starts after a short winter break on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 10:30-11:30am at Lowestoft Town Tennis Club, Denes Oval
Walking Tennis is fantastic way to stay active! You can play tennis at any age and Walking Tennis offers an easy way for older people to keep their body and mind active – while also enjoying the social side of being part of a tennis community. After each session participants are encouraged to stay and chat over teas and coffees.
Whether you’re a lifelong tennis player, a complete beginner* or just need a bit more time to get into the swing of things, you can give the game a go in a supportive setting.

Cost £3. Equipment can be provided
*Beginner players may also consider Tennis Xpress.

Learning Disability Tennis
We have partnered with local SEN schools to provide tennis provision to pupils inside and outside the school setting.
We also work with local organisations to deliver tennis as part of their day care services to adults and young people with learning disabilities and additional needs.

Wheelchair Tennis - New Dates coming soon!
Our beginner Wheelchair Tennis sessions in partnership with the Dan Maskell Tennis Trust will be re starting soon. The sessions are suitable for players with a physical disability or impairment who can self-propel a wheelchair.
Please note: we have a limited number of tennis wheelchairs available for use in the session.
Visually Impaired Tennis - New sessions coming soon!
Racket Sports Academy is pleased to offer a Visually Impaired Tennis Session open to anyone with sight loss. Initially the sessions will run on the 1st Tuesday of each month, 11:30-12:30 and you don’t need to have played before.
The sessions are played on smaller courts with lower nets. Some courts will also have tactile lines/markers so players can touch them. Players also use an audible tennis ball that makes a noise so players can hear it bounce and being hit. Equipment can be provided.
